ZAA Australia Relaunches After Three-year Covid-19 Induced Hiatus

HARARE – The Zimbabwe Achievers Awards (ZAA) Australia edition finally returns this year for its fourth season after a three-year Covid-19 induced hiatus with a rich shortlist of nominees put together in 12 selected categories.

Organisers have now opened the competition for online voting with the grand awards ceremony slated for 11 November 2023 at the Hilton Hotel in Sydney.

ZAA Australia seeks to identify and celebrate diaspora-based Zimbabwean change-makers who have defied the odds and excelled in their chosen fields.

The 2023 edition is powered by Frontier Wealth Group, which majors in financial planning, mortgage broking and property investments, among other diversified wealth creation and management initiatives.

ZAA Australia Country Director Method Mukundu was upbeat about the return of the awards following disruptions brought by the Covid-19 pandemic.

“A number of people and organisations have continued to make positive impact in the world and as ZAA, we reaffirm our commitment to recognising, celebrating and honouring those outstanding contributions,” he said.

“We are also equally thrilled to welcome Frontier Wealth Group as partner for this noble cause, to unlock full potential and networking among our leading change makers.”

Frontier Wealth Group CEO, Stephen Mandigora also said ZAA Australia has lived to become a key driver for diaspora engagement and a cross-networking platform for many Zimbabweans based abroad.

“ZAA embodies the aspirations of many progressive minds, and we fully embrace the vision as a firm,” he said.

“We believe we can inspire and guide many towards achieving financial freedom and develop wealth accumulation strategies together with ZAA.

“Since our inception in 2015, we have committed ourselves to empowering Zimbabwean communities and are confident of ushering in a new era of exponential growth together with many in this journey with the ZAA.”

Founded in 2010 by Conrad Mwanza, ZAA has grown to create a network across all the continents.

The ZAA Australia voting platform is now open on www.zimachievers.org and will close on 22 October 2023 to pave way for processes leading up to the Awards Dinner Gala.
