Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, commenting on the attempted rebellion in Russia by the private military company Wagner, praised Vladimir Putin and was glad that the military losses were insignificant.

Commenting on Prigozhin’s attempted rebellion, the Serbian president first referred to Putin’s address, where he recalled the First World War, in which “Russia’s unity was broken by foreign intelligence services, which led to unrest.”
He also noted that as a result of Saturday’s events, Russia lost “only seven” helicopters.
“These are expensive helicopters worth at least 40 million euros… It’s good that the losses are not significant, much more,” the Serbian president believes.
Noting Putin’s “sharp, decisive and clear reaction,” Vucic added that the Russian president faces “an especially difficult task.” “He must increase the motivation of the troops … And none of this will be easy,” he said.
It is likely that Vučić misjudged Russia’s losses during the attempted mutiny: according to Air Force spokesman Yuri Ignat, one plane, two combat helicopters and four Mi-8 transport helicopters are involved.
