The summer holidays are finally here, and what better way to spend a day than unleashing your inner child at Wildwood park in Devon. Based near Ottery St Mary, Wildwood Devon is set in 45 acres of stunning woodland and home to British species no longer found in the wild including red squirrels, brown bears and grey wolves.

The perfect day out for people of all ages, you can explore the amazing Wildwood park for a one-of-a-kind day out for families, nature lovers and anyone looking for a day out in the great outdoors.

What’s more, it offers a range of family-friendly attractions; including a beech hedge maze, indoor and outdoor soft play and an authentic Saxon Village where you can try your hand at historical arts and crafts.

Create unforgettable family memories at this truly action-packed wildlife park this summer.

From Saturday 22 July – Sunday 3 September, Wildwood Devon will be hosting a Summer Bonanza like no other, with help from its much-loved animals. From living history to outdoor adventure, they’ve got loads to keep you and your little ones entertained.

Wildwood’s maze is set to become a hub of activity this summer. An interactive trail will guide you through with goodie bags for those that make it to the end. And if that doesn’t sound like enough, join us for our Water Fight Fridays, where children and their grown-ups loose in the maze with water pistols. Warning – it will get wet!

Craft workshops will also be running in their Saxon Village too. From medieval rune carving to jewellery making, they have all the tools to make you feel like an authentic Saxon. Or why not take part in some games and crafts focused on wildlife conservation allowing you to engage with nature directly?

Those that enjoy a touch of thrill can conquer the heights on our tree-top drop slide or race down our 30metrer zip line. Visitors will also be able to explore Wildwood’s ancient woodland and get up close with unusual wildlife from Britain’s past and present during the animal talks.
