A Tajik citizen tried to bribe a Pskov customs officer, the Pskov Transport Prosecutor’s Office told the Pskov Information Agency.
On December 15, 2022, a citizen of the Republic of Tajikistan tried to give a bribe of 200 US dollars to the customs inspector of the Ubylinka checkpoint. The money was intended for the unimpeded release of the vehicle into the territory of Russia and exemption from paying customs duties, but the convict could not bring his criminal intent to the end due to circumstances beyond his control, since the customs inspector notified the head of the Pskov customs about this.
The court found the citizen of the Republic of Tajikistan guilty and imposed a fine of 30 thousand rubles, the court confiscated the bribe.
